Serena Marlowe and Carly Heiser are attending a two-week field hockey camp at Boston University. While on a day trip to sightsee at historic Boston places, Serena, a history buff, sees some strange goings-on. She believes that somebody is stealing valuable historical artifacts and vows to get to the bottom of it. There's plenty of excitement as the girls pursue the thieves from Paul Revere's house to the Children's Museum. The Freedom Trail takes on a whole new meaning, though, as Serena and Carly realize that they themselves have become the pursued.
